Britain and Northern Ireland reached agreement in principle on border control and drug supply issues
British Cabinet Office Minister and European Commission Vice-President issued a statement after meeting in Brussels stating that the two sides have reached a principled agreement on issues such as border control and drug supply in Northern Ireland. The British side will withdraw the controversial part of the internal market bill, which will remove a major obstacle to negotiations between the two parties. The current market focus will focus on the fishing industry, and it will see whether the two sides can reach a consensus in the remaining time. However, due to time constraints, the market generally expects that the two parties will eventually reach a weaker trade agreement, aimed at avoiding Brexit without an agreement.
